Dear friends,

I have read this forum for a while but it is my first time to participate. I applied for I485 21 months ago and waited approval patiently. Now, I am exhasuted. I want to share with you for my case and need your advice.

I called BCIS several times and they took all my information but no follow-ups. I contacted with my local congress man and got a message from one of his staffs. She said she got a response from CSC and it says " The current JIT is 11/16/01. The applications ND is 11/19/01 so have to wait 3 more months to handle the case". I am so disapointed. What do you think? Isn't it another excuse? What can I do to expedite the process? Thank you for your advice.

No second FP, NO RFE, no no anything at all!!!
 
Y' anyway waited long enough. You might want to try some phone/fax inquiries.

If to proceed 3days in JIT, it takes 3 months then I & many others here should probably forget about this process and stop checking this site.
Hope you'd get your approval soon.
 
I guess the 3 months comes from the fact that you have to wait 90 days past the JIT and then correspond, just my guess... hope that is the case.

I have totally no idea what does the 3 months means, either contact with BCIS 3 more months later or I will have a chance to be tried 3 months later. I am going to move other place in 2 months. Well the place is close to the residence that I am now (only 1 mile). I really don't know what I have to do now. I will definately contact with the congressman's office again and will ask help. We will see....
 
I guess its not 3 days, 3 months ratio. It might take 3 months for them to move the JIT further and then to reach this case...

Does this mean they are going to move the JIT date further within the next 3 months??
 
best you can do is wait ...BCIS does things own there own. Some of very old timers are getting approved like wac01-161 and wac01-290 ...so give some more time.
 
Well, I talked with the congressman's staff.
She said now CSC takes 20-24 months for process the case. I told her I can wait my turn in the queue but at least I want to know my file is in CSC or not. I was not sure about that because I never heard from CSC anything at all after my FP at Jan./02. She counted the months after my FP date and told me she will ask CSC for my second FP. I will see what will happen.
