Congratulations !!!!!!!!

Did you recieve any RFE during your Labor Certification process or I-140 Process.......

Congrats Kam140

CONGRATULATIONS !!

I am in the RFE situation now. Since I switched
employers after 1 year after filing for I485, with
an EAD, my original GC sponsor is mad !

1. Can he stop the process now ?
2. He refuses to give my file to me.
( I do not have I140, the LC for Job Description )
3. BCIS is asking for the same docs, they asked you.

Did you change employers ?
Plz explain how you responded to the RFE.
a. which lawyer ?
b. what all you sent them, plz.

Re: Congrats Kam140

In my opinion youshould not need I140/LC papers, but it will be good to have them. I140 & LC to my understanding are employer's applications, but I-485 is yours.

So it is importnat that you have atleast I-485 receipt notices.
Copy of LC is good to have, since that has the job description that your Green Card is based on, and could help to prove, that your next job is same or similar to that in the LC.

Talk to a lawyer, they might be able to convinve your company lawyers to give up your file.

I myself am changing jobs under AC21, I know how stressfull it is, but I had just ha too much, it is just so long you can live your life in fear. Don't worry, you have taken the right step, things will be allright, I have so far not seen any AC21 related rejection, most cases have been approved, some with RFEs.

Try not to inform INS about the job change, it is not necessary (look at www.murthy.com AC21 FAQ) (but do inform of any address change).

Your old employer can't do nuts, they may threaten to withdraw I-140, but don't worry that has NO impact on AC21 cases.
