I got the same RFE before approval back in May (she's derivative and we both escaped our country with "fake" passports which is the reason CIS asks for the I-602 waiver)

is not that big deal for asylee or refugee , just do it and explaine why did she used that false passport and put same of your country present condution i hope it never change much and that it (p.s) attache a letter with more details about what made her used that passport and show them that she had not others alternative but that false passport to saved her life .
