My daughter's OCI was granted and documents received at Houston Consulate on Jan 7th. I did send passport by USPS priority mail and it was delivered on Jan 11th. Its been a week ... I did not get passport with OCI stamp and as well as OCI card.
When I sent my passport for OCI stamping last year, it came back with stamp within 2 days.
I called consular enquiry number 713-621-5576, 713-621-8408 between 2 and 4 pm. No one picked up phone. Finally I was able talk to operator at 713-626-2148. She did not check check anything. She just said I have to wait for 2 weeks for stamping.
1. Has anyone had this kind of delay?
2. Is there a phone number where I can talk to someone at consulate who can check status on the stamping?
