Happy to open this thread to discuss OCI issues pertaining to people over 50.
People who have OCI cards with expired passport number.
Please share your latest experience.
I got my OCI in 2008 and used it until 2016. It was supposed to be for life with no expiration date.
However now things have changed and they are asking us to renew the OCI.
I got USA passport renewed in 2018. They issued a new passport number.
However OCI card still carries old passport number.
I also crossed the age of 50+.
So what should I be doing? Apply for new OCI, Renew or just get a Indian visa stamped to travel to India?
