OCI - Middle name dropped

Hi,

My first + middle + last name contains more than 35 characters. So, while applying USA passport I dropped the middle name. Now I read in this forum that it is going to be a problem while applying OCI card? What are my options for me now to get OCI or PIO?

Talk to Travisa. Since this is considered a name change, it usually requires a legal name change certificate. But there was a post recently that they just want an affidavit from you if the names were swapped. This sounds similar as you did not add anything. Talking to travisa would help.
