OCI form & US Passport Expiring in Oct 08 for minor child

Hi,

I need your valuable suggestion or your experience, I am applying myself and for my family OCIs this week, but my minor child US passport is expiring in Oct 08 and I am going to apply for renewing child's US passport and it might take 3 weeks to get new passport.

My question is when I apply for OCI this week, I need to give child's Current passport number and details in the OCI application form, but when we go to OCI stamping in US passport, child might have new passport.

Will Indian Embassy accept that or will they object? Have any one faced this problem?

Hi,

when you applied for OCI did you send all 36 pages of xerox of Indian and 25 US passport or just some pages?

Hi,
I need another clarification, first 2 pages and last 2 pages means. In American Passport as soon as you open cover page, it is empty nothing is there and turn next page photo is attached to that and 3rd page, you mean first two pages means photo page and next page? I am little confuse can you explain me how did you take xerox of your passport?

For US passport, just copy the page that has your picture, passport #, issue/expiration date, etc., and the next page that has your signature.
