OCI for minor - Copies of Parents Indian Passports and Proof of Renunciation

I need to apply for OCI for my daughter and have a question. I am a US citizen and PIO card holder. My wife is still a US permanent resident and Indian citizen. My daughter is also became a US citizen. I want to apply for her OCI.

My wife is an Indian citizen but lost her passport. She didn't care to get duplicate as she will be becoming US citizen in few months. But I have everything they need. Can just I submit my documents (US passport, Indian passport copies, PIO card etc) or both parents need to submit proofs ? Do you think they will reject the application if passport copies & surrender certificate of both parents are not provided. Anyone with similar experience., please share. Thanks
 
They need both parents copies based on my recent experience. Just copies even if you don't have the original should be good.
