For chicago consulate:

Can anyone please confirm OCI fees for 2 adults without PIO card and 2 kids with PIO card.
275+275+145+145= $840 ?

We will be picking up OCI documents so no mailing fees.

Did you apply Surrender Certificate in person, I am planning to apply for SC and OCI at the samet ime in person , is it ok? or should I wait for SC to come first?

if you apply together then I think you will not receive your surrender certificate and old indian passport back anytime soon. They will hold on to it until OCI process is complete. (2-3 months). And I simply don't trust them to carry my old indian passport for this long without losing it.
