OCI Application Question - Request for response


Request for a response to my query below.

Can my wife and kids apply for OCI as a family? [For now, I was planning to just get a tourist visa]. The reason I ask is because when I went to apply online, it seemed you had to fill out information for both husband and wife. I am assuming that in our case, we should leave the spouse section blank.

Anyone in a similar situation?

The OCI application form enables you to file for yourself and/or family. If you/they choose to apply separately at a later date, then just fill out only the relevant information and leave the rest blank.

In other words, you are correct in assuming, you can leave the spouse section blank for now.
