OCI Card Holder wants to start a Trust in India

Hi all

I am a OCI card holder for the last 3 years.

I want to register a Trust (Non Profit organization) in India to do education programs for poor children. As an OCI Holder, Am I allowed to be president of the Trust? pl let me know

Someone in India formally advised me to open a trust for other purposes (separate family assets from business and its potential liabilities) ... it seemed it was totally legit (as an OCI living in India). Your situation is slightly different, but I do not see a reason why not.
But, I am not a lawyer.
