OCI approved, Renunciation cert?

Hi all, new here, hope u r all doing great.

Became USC on Nov 2007, got US passport some 2 weeks later, went to India at Aug 2008, using a tourist visa on US Passport.
I applied OCI around May 1st week, got approved last week.
Never applied for the renunciation certificate nor got my passport has cancellation stamp(even though i met them for tourist visa)
Now my question, when i go to Houston for OCI stamping, can i apply for renunciation cert at the same time?
If yes, i do not have my US naturalization certificate, didn't even bother about it as soon as i got my US passport, until this new renunciation rule came into picture

What are my options? will they still grant me the Renunciation cert? or just stamp my Indian Passport with a cancellation mark?

When you go to Houston take Renunciation form duly filled with requisite money order with copies of US PP and Nat Cert. They will issue in the evening SC along with OCI.

Thank you Madh, but i do not have my Nat Cert...Lost it.:confused:
Will they still ask for for it if i have my US passport?
