Hi,
I am planning to apply for OCI for me and my wife along with 2 kids.
I have a question regarding the duplicates for the forms A and B and photos.

1. Do i need to submit 2 copies of form A and 2 copies of form B for myself, repeat the same for my wife.
2. Also is there any seperate forms for my kids, they are of age 8 and 3.
3. The OCI site says photo of size 3.5 cm x 3.5 cm, what would be the equivalent if am getting it done at walgreens.
4. When the passport copies are being self attested, do i need to write on it saying this is a true copy of the original or just sign the copies.

1. 1st set: separate form As for all 4 of you (one per person, that is), and then 1 copy of form B for the entire family. 2nd set: copy of 1st set.
2. see 1.
3. 2"x2" (just like US passport photos) would be fine.
4. Just say "I attest it to be true copy of original" and sign.

Birth Certificate...

Hi folks,
Do the copies of birth certificate for minors have to be attested, also do they need to 2 copies for each kid.
Do we need to send birth certificates for adults (who have US passports).

I did not get anything attested. I just wrote 'verified true copy of original' on all photocopies, and signed and dated them (this is called self verification or self attestation).
You do not need to send birth certificates for adults. Send copies of your US passports and copies of your Indian passports (to prove your DOB and also to prove that you and your kids are all eligible for OCI).

Hi, One more thing, the instruction says minors should give their thumb print, i have a son who is 8 years old, does he need to give the thumb print or can he sign his name.

If I were in your situation, I would use his thumb print. By any definition, 8 year old is a minor.
