I sent my OCI and surrender certificate application to Houston consulate in July. When I checked the status online, there is an acknowledgement that they have received the file and the status is 'in progress'. We have already booked our tickets for India, and I am not getting any response from them on phone, fax or email. What else can I do? Please help..We recently moved to California..can I transfer my file to SFO consulate. If yes, will they be able to send the original passport to SFO office?
