My daughter was born in the US. She currently has a PIO card and is 2 years old. Both myself and my wife were Indian citizens when we applied for her PIO card.
Now last month both myself and my wife got US citizenship. We applied for OCI card for both of us (but did not apply for OCI card for my daughter).

Once we get our OCI card - can we apply for OCI card for my daughter who has PIO card currently?
Is there any reason to continue her on PIO and not get OCI for her?

Thanks in advance for your reply.

We were in similar situation...we chose to convert pio to oci. In our thought process, it would be easy to reside in India, if we ever decide to move back, and not have to worry about residency requirements etc.
