I know the answer to this question is somewhat obvious but I wanted to be sure and eliminate any unknowns.
My wife and infant son recently received the IR1/IR2 visa based on I-130 process. Now they are all set to fly to USA with me from India. I know they still have some procedures that need to be done at the port of Entry in USA. I have a long layover(15 hrs) at the Dubai airport. I am thinking of obtaining a transit visa for my wife and son for Dubai for this layover, so that they can take some rest in the hotel outside.
My question is: Is it ok to obtain a transit visa at the Dubai airport? Will it impact anything as per her procedures at the port of entry?
My wife and son are Indian citizen.
