Oath procedure

Dear Experts: Could you please help me with following questions? Thank you so much in advance.

1. Could you please post citizenship oath procedure. How much time I am expected to spend at the Oath ceremony?

2. I lost my PR card, but still have may IMM 1000 (stamped not valid for travel), can I still be able to take oath or I need a replacement PR card?

3. I have a small child (3 year old), can I take him with me? Are friends allowed at oath?

Thanks again.

1. It takes about 2 hours (or slightly more than that) for the oath ceremony. You have to listen to the speech (by the judge) and then the anthem and then the oath and then they start handing out the citizenship cards.

2. I lost my PR card, but still have may IMM 1000 (stamped not valid for travel) - I do not know - call the call centre or the local immigration office (if in Winnipeg, go there in person - it is near Johnston Square)

3. Friends and family members are allowed at the time of the oath ceremony.
