I am confused on the time. My appointment letter says report to the USCIS personnel by three but i have heard different stories about getting there earlier than the appointment. It looks like the appointment is for 3pm and the ceremony starts at 3pm??? What are your experiences? Please help me.

Also, is there a drop off location for passport application on the same day? or do we have to have this done separately after the oath?

The ceremony starts at the time stated in your letter, so try to get there a little bit early to find parking and to enter the building and get seated. This takes time because of the hundreds of others who will be taking the oath at the same time.

Reg passport application, there was no drop box there or any agency collecting the same. You can get the application online from the State dept website. From what I have read on the board, the service is avlbl at SF oaths only.
