Oath date to Passport arrival

My oath date is July 30th 12:30pm. I need to be in Europe on August 2nd (or 3rd), that gives me 2 business days to get the passport. Does anyone know if it's possible to get passport within 2 business days? I can't even book tickets because I'm not sure if I get the passport or not, without tickets they wont process expedited service on passports. I'm confused and don't know what to do.

What are my choices? I live in Boston and they have a passport agency here.

Any advice?

Get your travel information and plans together and then book an appointment for July 1st at the Boston Passport Agency. You will need to show proof of impending travel - within the next 14 days (which you will fulfill because you are leaving the next day). You will have to pay the $60 expedite fee, but should be able to either pick up your passport on the same day or the next day at the very latest. Do not delay - call them 2 weeks before your travel date. Go to http://travel.state.gov for more information.
