Can someone please tell me how long does it take to get INS to send you a notice stating when and where ones oath cermony will take place.

My interview got done Jan 17th, and the Officier told me i had passed the test, and to expect a notice in the mail from INS to the time and place for the oath cermony.

Thank you for your help

Is anyone else in the same boat as self. Would like to hear from someone with regards to waiting for a oath letter from Atlanta DO. So i have an idea about the time frame

Is it not true that if you don't get oath on the same day they will accomodate you on the next day?

Why don't you go to DO and find out? May be they will accomodate you on that day itself. There is no harm in trying.

Well I know some people who were told to come and take the oath the next day (but they were spouse sponsored candidates). But for me the Officier said you will get a letter in the mail saying when to come back and take your oath. So other postings I have seen on this site for other states have said it takes 1-2 months to get the letter. I wanted to know how long it is taking in Atlanta

Unless you are in hurry you can wait for a month and then take an info pass and find out at your DO. I don't think you can do much at this point. However I feel your pain. So good luck.
