I originally had my oath ceremony scheduled on December 19th, but I could not attend because I was abroad.
I mailed them back the N-445 form, and I've waited nearly a month for a response. I called their contact center today and they said they did not receive the mail, which means that there may be a possibility it was lost in the mail after I sent it to the nearest field office.
I'm currently waiting for a higher USCIS agent to call me back, but has anyone experienced this before? Will my application be abandoned?
