Oath ceremony question

Last April, When I was interviewed I requested name change so instead of taking the oath ceremony on the same day I was scheduled to take the oath on June 1, 2011 at the Lower court of my county. If I did not request for name change will be done right in the USCIS office. Anyway, I was unable to attend I was re-scheduled to September 1, 2011.

My question is:

Can I still request to suspend my name change and my oath ceremony be conducted at the USCIS field office?

I called the USCIS customer service number but they only give me the current status of my case. Is there a way I can ask this question without me using the infopass? An email address or somebody with knowledge who can answer over the phone not only giving the status of my case.

The reason is its quite a distance for me to go to the USCIS office just to ask two questions.
Actually I did that already when I was applying for naturalization, I set up an appointment and drove 60 miles just to let the infopass people tell me that I cannot do that. I used up the whole morning just to answer one question.
