Oath Ceremony letter

Hi Everyone!

Sorry to bother you guys.

I had my interview for N400 on March 7, 2011, and I passed the interview. (This was in Los Angeles, CA). I was also given a piece of paper saying I passed, and to wait for a letter telling me when my oath ceremony will be.

The officer (who was very nice), told me I'd get the letter "within 4 weeks" from the interview day.
Its been about 5 weeks now and I didn't get the letter. Should I be worried? What should I do?

Thanks a million !

"Telling 4 weeks" has nothing to do with it actually happening. The IO was saying it based on prior experience, and the actual oath letter depends on the oath dates in your area. Los Angeles does this giant oath with so many people so if you missed one just after your interview due to scheduling timelines, they will put you in the queue for the next one.
But 5 weeks is where you should start checking for sure. First check the updates in the Los Angeles thread, then call CIS for a status update if you are waiting longer than most other people.
