Oath Ceremonies in December and January in Jacksonville, FL

I had my interview on 11/1/07 and now I am waiting for my Oath ceremony. I was told during the interview I can expect to take the Oath within the next 2-3 months. I have not received an Oath letter yet, and I am wondering if there is anyone out there with a similar timeline who has already been scheduled for the ceremony...

Any input appreciated.
Many thanks!

Thanks for your replies! I will call USCIS today to find out if they can tell me if I have been scheduled for the Oath. Infopass may follow... I will keep you posted...

I just called the USCIS and the IO told the my file is already approved and now they are "review". She said everyone need to go through this process. Is this normal?????, I never heard this before.
Is this mean I am already approved and wait for the oath letter?

My service center is TSC, IV date is 11/15, after IV I already received the congratulation letter.
I hope I won't need to wait for a long time

Yeah, that's normal, no need to worry. After you complete your interview successfully, interviewing officer recommends your application for approval. After that it's reviewed by a supervisor and final approval is granted.

You should get your invitation for ceremony soon.

Hi, davorjm

Thanks for your response.

I tried to call them todat, they told everything is fine and all I can do is waiting for the oath letter. I hope everything is fine.

Is the Oath letter schedule by the district office? I always think they need to send my file back to TSC or they just review at district office.
Before we have an interview, is the name check already cleared?

Thanks again.

It will be OK. You may even end up taking the oath same day as me. If you have time, you may want to schedule an infopass appointment.

Did you receive a notice after your interview? If the notice says "Your application is recommended for approval" that means your background check is already done.

Hi,

yes, they gave me the congratulation letter. And in the end I saw him stamp"approve" on my application.
I always think they need to send my file back to TSC or they just review at district office.

So the letter send from district office? or service center?

Thanks
