I just called my Do and I told her my whole story and she said that there is a Backlog and that everyone that got approved for Interview is on the list but has to wait because of a Backlog. So yea not only the ones who applied right before the Fee Increase are affected by it but also us as the ones who got already Interviewed and waiting on Oath so now it finally makes since why lately nobody has been getting Oath Letters.

Just doesn't change my current stage ... running to the mailbox as soon as the Mailman comes, lol

Hi Ladybuggy, I wonder why your case is still being reviewed? When you got your N-652, did it say that you were recommended to be a US citizen? If so, your case status should be "have been approved, just wait for oath", right? When I received my N-652, my name check was not out, so, I did not got that "congratulations" check box on. :(

My case was being reviewed by the supervisor after my initial Interview and then I had my second Fingerprinting done the first week of december and once again reviewed and when I called today everything was done ! Just sitting in the queue waiting and waiting and waiting

Please contact your Congressman's office and talk to the immigration liasion. They should be able to put pressure on USCIS to schedule the oath quicker!

What is the immigration liaison and how do I get to talk to them ?
In every Congressman's office, there is a person designated to help us with USCIS matters. That person is called the immigration liaison.
Call your Congressman's local office and ask them to connect you to the person who deals with USCIS.

They can help you to request status update of your case. To put pressure on USCIS, I don't think that's how they operate. Unless, it's a high profile case or... it's election year for the senator/congressman.
