Can anyone please post their timeline for applying for an I-130 form for one of their parents living here or in their home country?

Unusual, I don't think that is fair of you to say that. There are a lot of people who browse this forum, just to help other people even after they were done with all of their application process and approval. If you wanted an answer to your question, you should have made this post with a more meaningful subject line instead of "NYC timeline - I-130". The other thing is also that many of the people who viewed your post, including me have no idea about the specific question you are asking. So wouldn't you think it is better for someone like that not to speculate and wait for someone who has gone through a similar experience to comment? I hope you are able to get the answer you are looking for soon. You might also want to do a search on this forum to see if there were any other posts where people were talking about their timelines on I-130 applications for their parents. I remember seeing some such posts in the past. It is your job to search and find the information you need, not just making a post and expecting others to come and answer your question right away. I viewed the post.
And no, I didn't sponsor my parents, therefore I didn't post my timeline, because it doesn't exist.
Everybody on this forum shared his/her experience, including petty details.
You owe an excuse, imo.
