just want to share with those who have marriage-based green card app at federal plaza, new york city.

i went there this tuesday and was told that it takes 3 years now to get the gc from start to finish.

my application dated 2/11/2002, they are now scheduling 5/2001 applicants.
 
3 years !! Wow !!

I hope that's not true and hope that you get your case approved earlier.

NJ is faster compared to NY. It took me 5 months and 1 week to get the temp. green card (I-551) stamp in my passport
