Hi everyone,
First i would like to thank everyone who is contributing in this forum. I really find it very helpful.
My question is about the trips outside the US. i know how many times i have been outside the US but for some trips i forget the departure and return dates.
Can i just put an aproximate date?.None of my trips was over six months.
also on my green card it says resident since April 10 2004(eligible under the three year time frame(Vawa)).when should i send my application?
Thank you all for your tremendous help.

Departure & Arrival date info

In order to find the dates you travelled, you can check your passport which gets stamped once when you leave/arrive in your home country and also gets stamped when you arrive at a POE in the US. The stamps will have the dates on them.

and if you cannot read the stamps, just do the best you can. the main point of the exercise is that you have not been out of the country longer than you were supposed to.

I made a great many trips out of the US since my green card was issued. For most of them, there is a stamp in the passort. For a few trips, I got a stamp in the re-entry permit. In a very few cases, there was no stamp at all.

On my N-400, I reconstructed the long list to the best of my ability with a note that it was sincerely attempted but might not be 100% correct for the very old trips.

I feel comfortable with this and do not anticipate any problem.

Complete the form to the very best of your ability and do not tell deliberate flasehoods under any circumstances.

I'd echo the sentiment to simply do the best you can. I didn't have entry or exit stamps for a number of my trips due to arrival/departure by private vessel (telephone check-in with CBP), and a few older trips I didn't even have solid information on date, duration or destination. None of it was ever questioned by the IO, so I assume I must have guessed close enough, or (more likely) they had no contradictory data in their computer.
