I and one of my friend spoke to Mrs. Puspha Kumar in different times and she said pretty much said the same as of now Surrender Certificate is going to take anywhere between 2- 3 weeks to process
so for all any emergency or immediate trips (even in July)
please submit the travel plans (for all family members) while applying any forms for VISA,
PIO, OCI (for Affixing OCI stamp after document received only and I didn't ask about other situations sorry )etc.,
This will speed up or gives more priority
