Any experience for change of interview at the NY Federal Plaza DO? Surprisingly quick interview date for my daughter on 12/16/05 with a PD of 05/31/05. She has a 6 week assignment out of country at that time. Any feedbacks or experience. Thanks for any information.

i suggest you tell her do the interview at whatever cost. I know a friend of mine who asked for his interview to be reschaduled, it took another 8 months to do so. The case was not in New York though

interview re-schedule
Just wanted to share with others regarding interview date postponement at NY city. As mentioned earlier my daughter had an inteview schedule on 12/16/05. Since she had to go out of country she requested a change in date by mail, and also did infopass in Novemeber. The officer said they will reschedule once she gets back. When she got back in January, a letter from VSC said that owing to non-appearance at interview they will consider the application as abandoned. She did Infopass again in mid-Jan, and the officer agreed to reschedule her. She got the new interview date for March 10th, a couple of days back from VSC. We were rather amazed at their efficiency and promptness!
