NVC fee in case of AC I-140

hi,
i recently received the forms to pay the fee of $335 per person via NVC. I am trying to opt for Attornet certified consular processing. Is there any possibility that I pay the fee in dollars over here and show the receipt (if they send any) to mumbai consulate so that i skip the hassle of making bank draft in indian rupees when i go for my interview in India?
Please suggest!
Also,do NVC send any recipt to you after they encash the bank draft?

Answer: It is recommended for AC I-140 that you make the payment in India via a bank draft.

Also,do NVC send any recipt to you after they encash the bank draft?
Answer: No they do not...make a copy of the draft before mailing it. But since you are doing AC I-140 make a copy of the fee draft before you pay at the consulate just for future reference!
