NVC-case processing time

Hello guys,

NVC received my p3 on 15th of Jan 04.And the AVm still says review is pending.
1.What would be the typical timeframe for reviewing the document (only 230-I was asked)?

2.And after the review how many weeks does it take to get the appointment from the consulate?

Answer: Although you will see a number of P3 reviews being cmoplete in 2-3 weeks, the normal processing time if 6-8 weeks. If P3 review is not complete in 8 weeks only then does NVC accept a requested investigation in the matter.

2.And after the review how many weeks does it take to get the appointment from the consulate?
Answer: After P3 review is complete, the P3 file is sent to the consulate in about 1-2 weeks and from that point it takes about 2.5 months to get the interview. So assuming your P3 review complete in another 2 weeks that would mean about another 3.5-4 months.
