NVC: Case Not Received!

My I-824 got approved on Dec-11-2001 (From CSC). I got my approval notice on 12/20/2001. But NVC has not received the Approval notice yet! Is there anybody in the same boat? What could be the reason for this? Could the company be playing any role in this (trying to delay the CP)? I see lot of people whose I-824 approved after mine has received their Case numbers from NVC. I am starting to lose any hope in this process. If there is anybody in the same condition then that might help (knowing that I am not alone).

Mine took 1.5 months to get to NVC. Most likely CSC as at fault, your case not mailed yet. Company has no control over this. The only thing they can do at this point is withdraw I140 or not give you employment letter (which are both terminal).

Wait at least 2 months but no more than 3 to inquire what\'s going on. Your lawyer should then contact INS to find out what happened to your case.
 
It seems to be the case with CSC

My I-140 got approved on 12/31/01, but NVC has not received it yet, however, cases approved after that date from other centers have been received by NVC (from CPtracker).

I Don\'t know!

I kind of reached the point of saturation and gave up! I called INS @ CSC (boy, was that painful) and spoke to a rep. She said that my case was sent to NVC on 12/11/2001 (and NVC says they have not received it). May be the ghosts at CSC eat it or something. I don\'t know. As a matter of fact, I don\'t care! I might get laid off by the end of this quarter. So, you see it doesn\'t matter any more...

Got it!

I got my packet 3 today! I can\'t belive this. I called NVC on friday and they said that my case was not received from INS. But today, I have my packet 3! I don\'t get it. Any way, there is some hope.

I was too but be patient

My approval was Dec3rd & my case was recieved approved and created all in one day! jan 15th. Also I called them one week before and asked. My AVM detials are still not in the AVM so dont worry call and talk to the operator ASAP
 
XML, can you pl. post the phone number of CSC ?

my case I-140 was approved on 12/31/01, when I checked with NVC yesterday (02/04) they say, they have not received my case yet.
Ask me to check only after 90 days.

Can you post when your case was approved, and if you know by now, when NVC received it, etc., I appreciate that.
