Number of days outside US/Per in India

Hi,

I got my green card 10 months ago and still working with the same company. My company has opened their office in India and for the last 7 months I have been travelling atleast once a month to India and spend 2~3 weeks in India.

1) Is this allowed after getting GC?

2) I heard that if I spend more than 180 days in a year in India. Then I have to pay tax at India and also at USA.

3) can you refer to any financial/account people who deal with international tax filings.

Check form N-470 on the USCIS website to see if your company qualifies. Any stay more than 6 months needs a re-entry permit. Under come limited exceptions, you may be OK for naturalization despite prolonged absence.
