NSC - Rough timeline guesstimate

Hi Gurus,

I know it is difficult to predict timeline of NSC approvals but would like to know a rough estimate of my I140, I485 approvals.

My PD is mar 2003, EB2, I140/I485 concurrent recd date Aug 2004, FP Mar19, 2005. When could I expect I140/I485 approvals. Is Concurrent approval still there?

Though your guesstimated timeline maynot be accurate but it gives me some idea for me to proceed certain other things.

Thanks in advance.

NSC Processing is like a lottery, absolutely random.

There are waiters for eb3 sept 03 140 approvals , and eb3 jan 05 140's have been approved.

They have been on a holiday since 2002.

I'm probably completely wrong about this but based on what I see on this site, many people seem to get approved 12-14 months after their filing date (in other words, we are now seeing a lot of Jan-March 04 approvals)

Estimated timings

I believe there must be asome formula to calculate hte approx. processing timings. for concuurently filed I-140 , It could be equal to average of days passed after of PD + receipt date. may be NSC has built this logic into their system and the system flags them whcih cases to review.
Just my guess.

Yes NSC uses Random number generator algorithm. They add this random number to your Notice Date and start working on cases. :D
This is really sickening but looks like the case is. I am also waiting from Dec-03.

waiting

I'm waiting since 11/18/2003. It's my own labor. There is no update since fingerprinting. Since I'm still on H1, did not bother to renew EAD/advance parol but on advise of my attorney applied for renewal of EAD. ND is 3/3/2005
