NSC has updates I-485 processing time

NSC has updated their I-485 processing time to Jan 01 2003 on their official web site. This should give some some relief to a lot of old timers!

I think this update was posted on aila about a week back -- around the 15th.

NSC processing times don't mean that much -- but its always nice to see it move forward :)
Hopefully it'll catch up with CSC (CSC is processing late 2004 cases and NSC just out of 2002 -- OMG!!)
 
I tried to call and open an enquiry on my AOS application based on the updated Processing Date info, the wait was for over 40 minutes and still didn't get through. I am gonna take off this afternoon and keep trying.
 
I called NSC today and finally got through after 30 minutes. The representative was pretty nice and took all my information to start an inquiry. She said I should be getting a status letter within 30 days. According to my Senator's office my name check is stuck with FBI (I specualet either FBI, USCIS or somewhere between these two agencies). i will wait till this drama gets over and I want to see the end.

Thank you for asking......No I have'nt heard anything from USCIS!! I feel like I am the only one without and FP2 among Mar 03 filers:( I am trying not to think about it but its hard. Just hoping for the best.
