RD & ND - 10/04/1999, FP - 06/07/2000
1st RFE - Received along with FP notice (Employment Verification)
2nd RFE - Received 01/06/01. Received by INS on 01/17/01.
AD - 01/31/01

I am leaving to India the day after (02/02/01), can I go to the local INS office to get the passport stamped before I get the approal notice from NSC ?

I think so. I did my FP much ahead of my appoitment time. And it\'s no harm to try it anyway.

Thanks. Since my case was approved at NSC and I live in Connecticut, which comes under VSC, my lawyer advised me to have the approval notice in hand before visiting ANY INS office for passport stamping.
So I guess I will have to wait until I come back from India.

Wife\'s Medical was the 2nd RFE. The civil surgeon did not mention the results of the TB test taken in the document (which was negative) the first time i.e. when we underwent full medical before I485 filing.

Hi, Mr. Kumar:
Is it usually the last Employment Verification Letter requested at FP time? Need such a letter for passport stamping after I-485 is approved?
