With the looming fear of lay-offs in the given economy and INS slow down post September 11 my anxiety is ever increasing. Like thousads other, I am in the final stage of GC (I485) at NSC. Here are my case details:
PD: July, 2000 (EB2)
AOS Filed: March, 2002
EAD, AP: May, 2002
FP Done: May, 2002
Please see if you can answer any of these questions.
1. How much longer do I have to wait?
2. What should I expect next? When?
3. Is there anything I can do to speed things up?
4. What is Premium processing? Is it something for me?
5. Is CP an option for me, I have applied for 485(AOS) already?
6. What if i get laid off now!!?
I would like to keep this discussion going over the next several months (hopefully not years!) as many of us are in the same boat.
