NQP and missing file

Hi,

I want to check opinion from experts:

I had my interview on 07/29 th in SanDiego. FBI cleared my file and so do other agencies involved. 0n 08/02 my case was approved by supervisor and it went to NQP (Naturalization quality procedure)department. Wrote letter to congressman to findout what exactly it is. Congressman's office contacted liasion in DO and found out that my case takes another 30 days before oath scheduling. Today (08/30/2005)I went to DO to findout what is going on. The guy/lady who is dealing with NQp cases is not there. The front desk guy and DAO went and searched all the folders in NQP's office and not able to locate my file. They said file is missing. Right now I am nervous and don't know what to do.. Anybody in the same boat earlier?Any suggestions..

Just wonder how do you find out your case is approved and sent to NQP?
Is that you check online or you use some other source?

Thru email (SanDiego DO has email),confirmed thru congress man's office and walk into to DO (no info pass) and talk to guy in front desk/window
