I recently went to India and came back. I lost my I-94 (Arrival and Departure Document). I applied for it and have not yet received it. If I get approved before it(I-94) comes. Do INS ask for I-94 when you go for stamping.

Yes INS wants the I-94 card. However, stamping in passport is only for travel purposes. You can wait for your I-94 before going for stamping. You are a PR from the date of approval.
