I aplied in the second week of Nov 2003. Got my USPS confirmation that the application has reached Buffalo. Lets see when do I get any response or the file number from them.

Does anybody when do they deposit the check for withdrawl?

Mine is applied on Nov 17th thru lawyer(Mistake???)

And di not hear anything from my lawyer.

I havent sent the medical and the police clearance certificate yet. Can I start doing the Police and finger printing in advance? Or should I wait for the Buffalo office to inform me. I think it was written in the form that people should wait to hear from them.

can anybody help me out on this?

we shd wait for that.
Anyway it will be asked , when ur file will be assessed , which is 60 weeks(roughly)away from now.

Overpaid

Hey!!

My application got returned. Reason: Overpaid application fees.

I sent them the fees as per the prevailing exchange rate at that time. They send me a letter that after October 1st the fees for people applying from US has been fixed at $400.00.

I didnt know about that. Anyways I would have to send it again with the correct amount.

Will my application have a new receipt date or would it be counted from the back date.

I just was told by my lawyer that i got file no.
My ncase is applied on Nov 17th and i got file no on Dec 22nd
