Nov. & Dec. -- Rapid Approvals Expected

Now that VSC is done with the RFE backlog, and most of October, we will see a flood of November approvals next week.
December approvals will start trickling in around mid-March.

I do not think that the pace will pick up. There is too much going on and the INS is busy with a lot of other things

I certainly wish so, but expect long waiting.

no flood, floood with INS. It will take another 4 months to come to dec. Go for a vacation if you want to cheerup yourself but don't give yourself and others any false hopes.

Flood of approvals? Just imagine how much money they make by delaying 485 approval?

If the 485 is not approved in 10 months, every one of us will apply for EAD (for self), EAD for spouse ( God Knows how many of them actually work), AP for the whole family. A family with one kid will end up paying 240 for EADs and 330 for APs, a total of 570 dollars. I think, INS has realized this potential now and will definitely continue this practice.
