Nov case got RFE today.

I heard about a NOV RD Approval

Hi Guys,

Couple of days back, my friend (my friend's friend who's at Boston and who has a RD of around 11/30/2001), told me that his friend has got his approval on 11/8/2002. I did not post this information here as I wasn't sure how it would be treated (sarcastically, jokingly or something else).

I do not know his EAC#, nor his category, but definitely I can try to find out more. One thing is for sure, my friend wouldn't lie to me, but I do not know whether his friend has lied to me.. :):)

By the way guys, if this information is true then INS is again processing from the end of the month, as has been the norm for last few months.

Is it really Nov RD? Not ND?

How do you know that EAC02060xxxxxx is Nov RD?
It is Nov (or Dec) ND for sure..

I didn't see any info about RD in the online case status.

Anyways ,it is early to see a whole bunch of Nov approvals.

Hi Girish

I know that you are good at analysing data, but, you might be wrong here.

My receipt# is EAC-02-051-XXXXX (lots of NJ Guys) and my RD is Oct,12. That means , if you are from NJ and filed your 485 in Oct, your Receipt# will be somewhere in the range of EAC-02-060-XXXXX.

If you have carefully looked at Rupnet data, EAC number varies according to state you belong to (whether you agree or not, thats the fact).

So, I still believe that this RFE is for October RD and not for November (with I am wrong)

This looks like a NOV RD

To be more specific, mid Nov RD and the 2nd week DEC ND. My analysis is based on rupnet data.

Or, as per sujaksh it could be Oct NJ filer getting RFE. sujaksh .. I have not analyzed rupnet based on the state. I never thought that the RD would be based on state of residence. Maybe you are right.

I think it is Nov RD

I am from NJ, my RD is Nov 16, ND dec 14 and EAC-020605*****. In fact, my EAC is very close to this EAC.
 
Some More Info about receipt numbers

Based on some of the stats I posted for EAC 02059 5xxxx

PGC quoted the following

I am one of those 02-059-***** series with ND 12/10/2001. I didn't expect total that many 485 applicants on that single ND. seems many Nov filers, although my RD is 10/31/2001...

02-059 series as NDs of 12/10/01 but my rd is 11/16 and PGC's is 10/31 and Ialso belong to the same series

So this person may be Oct or Nov Rd

Difficult to predict

Hi

I agree that it can be Oct/Nov.2001 case. It seems like due to closing down of VSC Mail room in October,2001, Lot of October filers(specially after 10th Oct,2001) go their EAC number in 051-053 range.

We Octoberites are bit unlucky because of the circumstances beyond our control.
