Nov 2002 I-485: FP2 Notice Received For Myself & Spouse

I just received FP2 notice to appear on 5/18/2004 at San Antonio Service Center, Texas for both myself and spouse, even though my spouse's FP1 is not exipired yet.

There was no enquiry done or no address change, but I don't know how it triggered when July/Aug/Sep 2003 filers are still waiting for FP2 notice.

Is it posssible that my/spouse case has been assigned to an officer ?

I-140 Approved on Nov 2002(it took only 14 days for approval process)
I-485 RD: Nov 8th 2002 (Nov18th As per INS website online message)
FP1: Feb 2003
FP2:5/18/2004 (notice received today, 4/16/2004)
No RFE yet...
Waiting for Approval ????

Spouse
I-485 RD: Feb 12th 2003 (Feb 18th as per INS online meassage)
FP1: Apr 2003
FP2:5/18/2004 (notice received today, 4/16/2004))
No RFE yet ...
Waiting for approval ????

Congratulation !!!!! someone took out your file from the stack. did they update on web site or you got letter in the mail.


one of my friend got RFE but there is no change on on-line messages. Lots of wonders.


Could you please give more details.

Have they "touched" Nov'02 cases... or is FP2 standard operating procedure?

I did my FP1 on Jan 23, 2003, a couple of weeks before you flamboyant, but your RD is a good three weeks ahead of mine. Makes me wonder if that was what caused the 2nd FP for you and if so, does that mean your case has been "picked up" for processing????

I got notice for myself & spouse in mail today, online message remains the same, doesn't say anything about FP2.
