MY RD IS 23 NOV 2001 STILL WAITING APPLIED FOR RENEWAL OF AP & EAD ...AP GOT APPROVED EAD STILL AWAITED..........CALLED UP NCSC ABT MY DELAYED APPROVAL of I-485 & THEY SENT A LETTER AFTER ENQUIRING WITH VERMONT THAT MY CASE RD ACCORDING TO THEM IS IN CURRENT TIME FRAME OF THEIR CURRENT WORKING DATES (THOUGH IN WEBSITES & APPROVALS SHOW IT IS JAN 2002) & ASKED ME TO WAIT ATLEAST 60 TO 90 DAYS FOR FURTHER ENQUIRY..........Iam thinking of contacting senator after my ead is approved & by then their 60 days limit is also over & they r compelled to give different reason for delay in process.........may be contacting senator help me & u people too
atleast u both got rfe or atleast 2nd fp I got nothing till this date & my case is very straight forward one Iam working for a reputed company & no change of job till this date but still bcis is delaying my case for no reason........it looks like they have'nt touched my file

i am with you ramprak. i have not gotten RFE nor the second FP since my FP was received by INS July 30, 2002. I am still reading the same message "On July 30, 2002, your finger print was received...blah blah".
I have not changed jobs nor changed address. I renewed my EAD back in June. It looks like BCIS cashed my check but i didn't receive my EAD card.
They have time to open my mail, cash my check, take my money, but they don't have the time to blow the dust off my I-485....
Sigh....

To make things even more exciting for us, my wife has not received her 2nd FP notice even though we both had our first FP done on the same day. Called BCIS about it and they completely absolved themselves with total non-chalance.

I think you guys should contact congressman office same as what i did, and i found that my I-140 was the reason for the delay , it was in the american embassy by mistake, so guys BCIS makes some mistakes, its better to call congress.
