I have applied for advanced parole for almost one month and have not receive any reply besides a receive notice. Can I go to local INS office and get an AP on the spot?

I have filed my AP renewal application for 3 months and have heard nothing!! I need advice, too: can we go somewhere to get it in person? Please help!!
