After 2 years of waiting Finally RFE Received on INS received RFE for I-485, I-131 and I-767.
RFE was employer name for I-485 and the others was special regitration number.

The message says
On December 5, 2003, we received your response to our request for evidence or information. It is taking between 365 and 540 days for us to process this kind of case. However because preliminary processing was complete, the remaining processing time will be less than the maximum stated in this message. You will receive a written decision on this case.

From your experience any idea how much time this will this take , dont tell me another 2 years !!!!

Can you please post few details about u r case like when was the RFE issueed and when u sent response etc.....U r message is confusing...

as it said, it could take from 360 days ... to....
i got RFE in May 2003, and they recieved my response in June 2003, and right now, still waiting here.
we are just unlucky!

you might be approved soon.

you might have security check cleared and the officer start working on your case and send the RFE. in this case, people could get approved in less than a month, keep your faith and wish for the best.

people got RFE back in may/june or even earlier, might not have the security check cleared, that's why the long wait
