Notice undeliverable question

Hi,
I changed my address two months ago online and confirmed it by phone. I got an email today given below:


Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: Notice returned as undeliverable.

On August 25, 2007, the post office returned our last written notice on this case as undeliverable. This can have serious effects on the processing of this case. Please call 1-800-375-5283 to update the mailing address so this notice can be re-sent

I called USCIS today to enquire what the notice is about and why my address change did not register. I got the usual bs answers (check back 45 days later). The IO changed said she changed the address again but she does not know what kind of notice is it. Does anyone has similar experience?

Don't worry about it, i had a same experience. Check with your attorney whether he has the correct address with USCIS or not.

I got the same on line status message after my FP was done. THen finally my case is approved on Aug 15th 2007.

I am still waiting for my wife's case approval.

I had exactly same message/problems. I called USCIS and updated my address also I updated my address online. when you call the customer service you must say that you have notice/RFE that need to be sent again and its not just the "Outside Processing Query" about your case.

Thanks, eageruser and gckajadoo. I changed the address again but I didnt tell the IO that I need the notice re-sent. I'll call them again and do that.

I changed my address on-line on Aug 5th and called TSC on 08/17 and asked them to verify if their systems are updated with the new address , they went case by case (self/spouse/2 minor children) and confirmed that address changes are made . After that I received a confirmation letter on 08/26/07

Did you get the RFE/Notice re-sent to your address???
