Notice Returned... Undeliverable???

Got this email today for both i-765 & i-485: Mind you we have not moved at all, our address in their system is the same exact address we are at now and we have received all our receipts and info at.

I already called and verified the address with them, they are sending out another notice. Any idea what the notices could be? I just left a message for my lawyer about this as well. I know I have read that others have had this happen- how long does it take for the notices to be resent back to me?

Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: Notice returned as undeliverable.

On September 18, 2007, the post office returned our last written notice on this case as undeliverable. This can have serious effects on the processing of this case. Please call 1-800-375-5283 to update the mailing address so this notice can be re-sent.

I'm sorry to hear. It just delays. It happened to me once.
They said the names that receive the letters should be on
postoffice otherwise sometimes they don't deliver. Probably
these are notices for fingerprints.

Found out what happened:

They sent the letters to my lawyers po box and not my home... argh! I hate when they don't read!

Luckily the operator said theyd be sending copies back to me right away.

I just wish I knew what I would get notices on for those two forms. It can't be for fingerprints, we have had that notice since 8-31. We go on Saturday AM for FP

Oh I see. Good luck whatever it is. I'm glad you
solved it fast. It took longer for me when it happened.

thanks.

I have a feeling it was a notice our case has been transferred to the Detroit office (our local office) but then I could be wrong!

I had the same thing happened on 9/5/07 mail was returned to them. The imput my lawyer's address incorrect in their data base and his mail was returned to them. I call they said they would resend it and then they sent his to me. Also when I called they said my case was transfered to my local office but once I opened the mail it not about my case being moved it was all the same notices they had already sent me.

How long did it take for them to resend them to you?
I can't figure out what the heck they could be.

I wonder if they were transferred to our local office? Is that possible?

I took about a week, like I said I thought it had something to do with my case being transfered and of course it was not.

Sorry I must have over read that part, I am excited hoping they are good news but it's probably something pointless lol
