Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident

Hello everyone,

Finally - great news!! I had no LUDs on my case for over 2 months (even the interview did not result in a LUD). Yesterday I saw LUDs on both 485 and 130 but the message did not change. I just got an email message saying that the approval notice for 130 and 485 was mailed today.

As a side note, I had sent a FOIA request to FBI on May 7th. I haven't received a reply directly from them yet. But I thought that was an interesting coincidence that I got the approval 8 days after that!

I am not sure how long it will take before I get the card in hand. But to say the least, I am ecstatic...

Good Luck to those still waiting...Don't loose hope..it will happeb soon!

Congrats hkgk!

My interview is tomorrow and I am expecting that I will have to contact about my namecheck in the near future as well. Can you please give the contact information where you sent the letter?

The following thread explains in detail some of the steps you can take. There is no evidence as to anything will work. But it is probably worth the effort. The form is on the FBI website. You can fill out and fax it OR use snail mail. I have also added the FBI website where you will find the form.
